Role of the Dean’s Council

The Dean’s Council of the Power Engineering School supports the implementation of the School’s development policies and annual business plans. It assists the Dean in decision-making, administrative coordination, and operational management, and submits proposals to the Director’s Council of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST).

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and proposing policies and programs related to the School’s development
• Ensuring the implementation of decisions issued by MUST and the School’s Academic Council
• Reviewing and proposing changes to organizational structure, staffing, and incentive schemes
• Nominating candidates for state and institutional awards and honors
• Reviewing budget allocation, asset use, and financial reports
• Submitting proposals for international missions and cooperation
• Discussing the establishment or dissolution of educational and research centers
• Reviewing staff disciplinary matters
• Performing other duties in accordance with MUST regulations

Decisions and directives of the Dean’s Council are binding on all divisions, research centers, professor teams, and administrative units, which are required to implement them and report on their execution.
